All classes are 60 minutes with the exception of the Focus Class, which is 90 minutes.

ABT-Applied Boxing Technique
The class is geared toward getting our female members comfortable in the ring. This class will show you how to take the drills you are learning in Uppercut’s other classes and apply them to the ring. Requirements are that you are a female member of the gym who is qualified to take Focus class. Please have a formed mouthpiece-and if you have headgear-please bring it as well. This class will run twice a month-please check the monthly schedule on the Uppercut Website for dates.
For all levels. Members work on technique and form with various boxing equipment.
This class is for all levels and features work on the heavy bags, speed bags, uppercut bags, double-ended bags, medicine balls, and jump rope.
Mondays: Noon and 6:00pm
Wednesdays: Noon and 6:00pm
For all levels. The instructor will choose what class they want to teach…be prepared!
This class combines American Boxing with several of the martial arts such as Maui Thai and more.
Build & Burn
For all levels-no boxing equipment or hand wraps are required. This class concentrates on interval training by combining jump rope and other cardio conditioning with weights for a full-body workout.
Prerequisite – 8 boxing classes; this class concentrates on shorter drills and moving from offense to defense. Participants alternate in the role of trainer and boxer. This class is a great workout for Focus 2 participants as well.
Smaller drills will be used offense to defense. This is a 90 minute class.
Prerequisite - Focus 1; instructor approval. The length and intensity of the drills increases for both trainer and boxer. This is a 90 minute class.
Saturdays: 9:00 AM
Advanced level. This class will prepare you for sparring. Full equipment and trainer’s approval required. Members must have a formed mouth guard, headgear and 16oz gloves in order to participate.
Wednesdays: 5:30pm Runs every other Wednesday. Please refer to schedule for current dates.
Members must qualify for this program and have their USA Boxing papers. Need trainer’s approval.
For teens ages 8-17, specialized training for fitness and basic boxing skills.
For advanced teens who have participated in more than four of the Saturday/teen classes.
